First year Partners CI fellow, Lin Shen MD, named to 2018 Epic Adult Gastroenterology Steering Board

First year Partners CI fellow, Lin Shen MD, has been selected to represent the inaugural 2018 Epic Adult Gastroenterology Steering Board.      

“Epic specialty steering boards positions are elected by their peers and help guide Epic’s specialty content and strategy.  Their work on best practices is shared with the whole Epic community, benefiting millions of patients. The Adult Oncology Board, for example, has defined how to best collect and review distress screenings using MyChart questionnaires that are integrated with physicians’ workflows.

Representatives from many of the most respected health systems in the country comprise separate adult and pediatric Specialty Steering Boards for cardiology, urology, endocrinology, emergency medicine, oncology, orthopaedics, and obstetrics. Newly formed boards for 2016 include anesthesia, dermatology, neurosciences, ENT, and population health.”  – Epic
